1 John 3:16-18"16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."Many of us today are thinking about this day 8 years ago. Maybe where we were, how we felt, what we did or how much television we watched. But everyone thinks about the men and women who's lives were taken and those who laid them down freely. Let this be a day we remember them and their families for the willingness to lay down their lives for their brothers and sisters.Thank you Jesus for choosing to lay down your life to save the souls of all men and women. Help me to open my heart more to those in need and live out your love to others through deed and truth.--kyle
